Healing for Emotional Health Issues
A beam of wonder emanated from Amanda’s* spirit. She had a love that could touch a broken heart like no other and in a heart beat turn the ‘least of these’ into a greatest. She seemed to laugh with such excitement and her smile brought a sense of wonder that filled the atmosphere. Amanda gave everyone a palpable kiss from heaven. …” (a *fictitious person.)…

All Christ followers need healing. At the moment we set our faith on Jesus, it saved us, made us whole - yes…. it set us positionally like Christ with all of our sins forgiven and completely free- “seated in heavenly places”. (Ephesians 2:6-7) But we all have areas in our lives in which we exhibit bad spiritual fruit- places in which we struggle and can’t overcome. Where are these from? Jesus said “A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit” (Matt 7:19) So, in short, these are wounded places still in our heart, where although we try harder to live by the Spirit, in reality are ruled by our flesh. And we have not brought these areas to the cross to be resurrected. These are areas in are heart, which still remain hurt, broken and bitter …. and sometimes stuck- where angry, bitterness, fearful, sad and painful weeds still remain in the garden of our lives. All of us have them. Hebrews 12:15 speaks of those bitter roots that spring up causing trouble. And Galatians 6:7 speaks of seeds of unrighteousness that if sown, we will also reap. We are in essence reaping seeds sown so long ago, and the reason we don’t realize it, is the time between the sowing and reaping. So… We have been wounded early in life, we have left seeds sown of bitterness that have grown to be weeds. These seeds were ways of self protective living that have allowed our old man or flesh to have rule over us and in order to dig up the root, we must find where the seed was first sown at the time of the wounding. We need to get back to our wounded hearts and how they first decided to live life in these areas that are growing un Christ-like weeds. The more we allow Christ into these specific places of our hearts and bring them to the cross for Jesus to heal at the root, the more we are resurrected and live the abundant life Jesus had planned for us. And the more we will carry a Christ-like heart and character. And as Galatians 2:20 states so plainly, we will be resurrected to our original design, carry the fruit of the spirit and love from a pure heart. (I Peter 1:22)

I received my initial training from Elijah House School of Prayer Ministry between the years of 2004 and 2014, and continued through official advanced training with both Elijah House in Idaho and a class with Transformed Hearts Ministries. I attended a partial internship at Elijah House and continue to receive most of my own prayer ministry, mentorship and training through Mark Sandford at Elijah Rain Ministries in Idaho. I always maintain however, my greatest ongoing training is to pursue my own healing and transformation, receiving prayer ministry with others at the foot of the cross.

Each session of healing prayer is different since it is Holy spirit-led. But each contain similar components. As I listen intently to what is on your heart, we will allow the Holy Spirit to lead, and through training and discernment we trace back the struggles that are in the present to the root in childhood. These are the roots that caused trauma, painful feelings, wounds, unwanted thought patterns and beliefs, behaviors or actions. I facilitate healing as I lead you to the cross in repentance, forgiveness, renunciation of lies, vows and judgments and more. The Lord always pours in to bless and heal as we ask the Lord to restore you to your original design. There is always many other aspects that vary but enter into the process as well, including biblical teaching, bible verses, prophetic words, and so much more. Empathy, compassion and tuning into your heart and design are always a part of the sessions as is the Holy Spirits presence.
